Simulation of a Transverse Flux Linear Induction Motor to Determine an Equivalent Circuit Using 3D Finite Element

چکیده

This paper presents a Transverse Flux Linear Induction Motor prototype simulated with 3D Finite Element tool. The main objective of the is to obtain an accurate method construct equivalent circuit that simulates motor, using some specific parameters. has three steps. In first step, we simulate two indirect tests represent rotating induction machines, standstill and locked rotor tests. Using test results, define equations system incorporates longitudinal end-effect. allows us select parameters needed build six different configurations. second classify in groups: from primary secondary parts. We part defining magnetizing inductance as combination transversal inductance. To this end, analyses harmonic magnetic field wave along air gap, which located above central teeth. Thus, it possible establish difference between components density. will be compared 2D Field Theory linear motor operates transverse flux configuration. third selected goodness factor, dimensionless key performance indicator, specifically used evaluate behavior motors estimated for circuit.
